He is the author of the memoirs Guidelines for Mountain Lion Safety and Love & Terror on the Howling Plains of Nowhere. His newest novel, Whirlaway, is due out on April Fool’s Day 2018. He lives with his wife and son in Chadron, Nebraska.

Andrea Gregory holds an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and her fiction has appeared in Consequence Magazine. She lives in a New England lake house where she makes lip-sync videos with her teenage stepdaughter, Jordi.

Tony Hoagland has given up on conquering the world and instead builds birdhouses in his garage in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His newest book of poems, published by Tres Chicas Books, is Recent Changes in the Vernacular.

Mary Jane Nealon lives in Missoula, Montana, and has worked as a nurse and writer for forty-one years. Her dogs, Maisie and Cooper, like to listen to her read poetry, especially John Berryman’s. Her memoir, Beautiful Unbroken: One Nurse’s Life, was published in 2011 by Graywolf Press.

Mathias Nelson is a janitor. He’s also the descendant of Rollo, first ruler of Normandy. His first book of poetry, Dip My Pacifier in Whiskey, was published by The New York Quarterly. He lives in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Tom Payne lives in Great Britain, where he sits in an East London flat with no working radiator and writes stories. Assuming he doesn’t freeze to death, he intends to carry on doing this until he has to get a real job.

I.F. Stone was an investigative journalist and founder of the newsletter I.F. Stone’s Weekly. He died in 1989.

Stephen A. Waite is a paralyzed veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Deputy Mayor of the village of Millerton, New York. He is also a fan of University of Notre Dame football and reads books about Native American spirituality. “The Stray” is his first published essay.

Megan Wildhood is a writer and theologian living in Seattle, Washington. Her poetry chapbook, Long Division, was released in 2017. She’s working on a novel and two more poetry collections.

Duane Bridger lives in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he’s more productive when he works alone.

Thomas Clark is a part-time recluse who lives in Queens, New York. He is the director of Visual Freedoms, a not-for-profit cooperative for visual artists.

Greg Clary is a newly retired college professor who lives in Clarion, Pennsylvania. His work has appeared in Looking at Appalachia, an online archive of photos of the area.

Michael Galinsky is the co-director of All the Rage, a documentary about Dr. John Sarno, whose theory of psychosomatic back pain defies mainstream medical practices. He lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Celeste Hollien is a photographer and stay-at-home mother who lives in Waynesboro, Georgia, where she home-schools her daughter.

Johnny Martyr is a contemporary black-and-white film photographer.

Laurie Minor lives in Ontario, Canada. She’s published three books of black-and-white images of birds, and her photo essays have appeared in Photo Life, Photo Digest, and Cat Fancy.

Eric Rawson’s photographs have appeared in Radar, Slate, and Commonweal. He lives and works in Southern California, where most of his summers are consumed by watching baseball.

Monika Wieland lives in Friday Harbor, Washington. She is an avid whale and bird watcher.

Diane Wright is a social worker, occasional minister, and mother of two who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
