Healing Chi at Work: 5-Minute Sitting Exercise

Dr. Paul Lam provides a simple Tai-Chi exercise that can be perform either standing or sitting.  This is a great practice to relieve stress caused by sitting for hours at a desk.  Aside from exercises like these, adjusting your desk to allow yourself to stand can help alleviate back and neck pain.

Many people pass on the benefits of Yoga, Tai-Chi, Qi-Gong and other martial arts out of fear of looking silly; this is in fact the silliest fear one could have.  These practices are thousands of years old and help maintain health and harmony for your entire life.

These videos are short enough to learn during a 15-minute coffee break or you can practice at home and bring the 5-minute exercise to work with you for mid-day relief.
