Hemp as Sustainable Dietary Staple

Hemp as Sustainable Dietary Staple

Hemp seed could be called the super food of super foods. It is Zeus to a pantheon of goji-berries and quinoa. A quarter complete protein, one third healthy fat (omega 3, 6 and 9) and another third carbohydrate, the rest a variety of vitamins and minerals; hemp seed rules the plant world when it comes to food. Hemp is not different from other food baring plants, in that it too must be grown in a polyculture/permaculture fashion, but as a dietary supplement, it has the ability to provide a cheap, natural, and healthy source of essential nutrients to every living human being on the planet.
