How to Prevent Economic Crisis: “The Best Defense is a Good Offense.”

How to Prevent Economic Crisis: “The Best Defense is a Good Offense.”

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Gandhi

“The best defense is a good offense.” – Carl von Clausewitz

“Be like Water.” – Bruce Lee

“The best government is that which teaches us to govern ourselves.” – Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

Light naturally overcomes darkness.

Good, in its existence,  diminishes Evil.

Without additional action other than its being.

The best way to defend against a negative effect, is to strengthen the positive foundation within your life and community.

Instead of spending a majority of time fighting “big government,” build the sustainable community you want.  Instead of attempting to persuade the special interests to stop doing what they prefer to do, build the society you are asking them to create.

By defining “success” to include the requirement that others change their actions or belief system, you give over power to those people.  Those people now determine your destiny, by your own choosing.

The Difference between Good and Evil is self evident.

Make your study the observation of Nature, the Universe and Society.

Allow the Creation to explain Itself to You.

Just Watch and Listen. Feel. Don’t argue. Don’t prejudge. Just Observe.

Now, I am not suggesting that you stop paying attention or sis to vote. I’m suggesting for you to assume that you are just going to have to do this whole thing yourself. Your life is your participation in Government.  Your work is your fight against oppression and corruption.

Instead of putting the majority of your time and resources into “Ending the Fed!” begin buying Copper, Silver and Gold Coins.

Start giving out the Copper coins as tips, or simply gifts.  Spread the concept, and spread the experience of physically holding and recognizing precious metal coins. Most people simply haven’t been exposed, and most people aren’t in the habit of regularly exposing themselves to new ideas and concepts, so help them out!

Make ONE transaction/barter with metal. Just ONE (1). Then move from there. Barter without metals as well.  Even better. Why wait for riots, food shortages and martial law before you get off the couch?

What part of Libertarianism suggests that you should primarily focus on what Government must do (or not do) in order to prevent financial collapse, or even manage the economy.

Instead of becoming outraged and consumed with SB 510 (at least you called your Senators and Representative right?  Right!?!) , study and actually do Permaculture! Find others in your community that are doing it, work with friends, find someone with a backyard that will let you garden.  It may be intimidating, you are going to have to step outside your bubble, but hey, that’s the point. You want out of the bubble, remember?

Don’t just store food and ammo so you can shoot people over a can of peas, create a high yield, productive, organic Permaculture garden. Find local gardeners and farmers to barter with.  Give them an ounce of silver for a couple-to-a few bags of food. Now that relationship is there.  Still call your Senators and vote out the Two-Party System (“Corporate Party Duopoly”), but spend the majority of your time, money and energy building a sustainable, free, and independent community.  At least get your family and home set up.

Instead of hacking and pirating Windows and Mac software, convert to Linux.  Yeah, it’s more work at first, what’s your point? Of course it is, it’s real life! It’s being free and independent and not supporting corrupt systems.  It’s being a Free Human Being! It’s work. No one is taking care of you. That’s what you want right? Hop on Flattr.com if you want to promote free, open, music and art.

Instead of protesting against War and Exploitation, work with the Poor. Help the exploited people of the world build communities, build gardens and a sustainable barter economy.

Continue to vote Anti-War.  Continue to contribute to Libertarian and Progressive campaigns. Continue to donate to Charity.

What I’m spreading is the idea of making your work passively diminish the powers that stir big government. Make your consumer purchases empower your community and local economy.  Make your dietary habits naturally support a healthy environment.

Take a step up to the next level of living.

Be a sovereign being.

Do the Work of God, as he would in Heaven, here on Earth.
