An example of how registering with a Third-Party, rather than as “No Party Affiliation” or “Decline to State” can have a huge impact, Peace Activist Cindy Sheehan, who ran as an Independent for Congress against Nancy Pelosi, has changed her voter registration to the Peace and Freedom Party. As a fellow San Francisco resident I would like to welcome Cindy into the Third-Party Movement. Although I am a registered Green, I regularly cross party lines to vote for who I feel is the most qualified candidate to represent me. Peace and Freedom candidates Marsha Feinland for U.S. Senate and Gloria La Riva for U.S. Congress District 8, will both receive my vote in November, as well as Libertarian candidate for Secretary of State Christina Tobin. My Green Party affiliation however will be well represented in my vote for Laura Wells for Governor and Jimi Castillo for Lt. Governor.

Jack Wagner is the Editor of The Free Independent-Sun. Born in Sonoma, California and currently residing in San Francisco, Jack set up The Free Independent-Sun on July 4th, 2009, after sleeping in and not making his usual trip up north for his hometown festivities. He figured he'd do something revolutionary to make up for it. In the Summer of 2010 Jack registered Seraf Media with the City and County of San Francisco as a Sole-Proprietorship. He is dedicated to articulating the finer points of the Revolution in order to bring about a Global Renaissance and Abundant World Economy.
