The Tao of Earl Grey: Making the Green Tea Party the Black Tea Party

After John F. Kennedy, former President of the United States, freed Martin Luther King Jr. from Jail, African-Americans, previously Republican at large, shifted 95% support to the Democratic Party. In this article, I have collected a little over an hour of video content that will hopefully communicate why this writer, and this publication, believes that further progress in civil rights and the prosperity of all Americans depends on the Black Community, in spite of the Election of the First President with African Roots, to switch even just 20% of their political power to the Green Party.

Now at the apex of African-American representation by the Democrats, the conditions created by the policies of the first and oldest political party within the United States has maintained a disproportionate number of the black male population in prison instead of in Universities, a welfare system that gives incentives towards the destruction of African-American families, and a Medical Industry that has funded and encouraged the killing of 1/3 of the Black Population before birth.

Now, in 2010, LeAlan Jones is the most likely Green Party Senate Candidate to be Elected into office this November.  LeAlan is a Journalist, former Securities Investors, high-school Football Coach and single-father to his two adopted nephews. Roland Burris, the current holder of the seat, is leaving office as the only serving African-American Senator.

Elected as a Democrat from Georgia, former Representative Cynthia McKinney was a strong voice for Liberty and Justice as she served in The United States Congress.

Then the media attacked her for an incident involving an altercation with a Capital Hill Police Officer.

And then her questions about the lack of preparation before the events of 9/11 were edited by the Media to fuel the emotional state of her district to vote against her in the Party’s Primary.  The Democratic Party voted her out of office.

So, former Representative Cynthia McKinney joined the Green Party, and in 2008 they nominated her as their Candidate for President.

And now back in McKinney’s home state of Georgia, John Monds runs for Governor as the Libertarian Party Candidate.  Monds has won more votes in an election than any other candidate, including their recent Presidential Candidate.  Monds won over 1,000,000 votes for the statewide office of Public Service Commission in 2008, securing 33.4% of the vote against an otherwise unchallenged Republican Incumbent.

If African-Americans swung their vote, even 50%, into the Green and/or Libertarian Parties, they would form the majority, leading group, within those Parties. They would have true representation, and help empower others within their Parties who are dedicated to Peace and Liberty.  People who Cherish their inalienable Rights and oppose anyone taking them away.

Before he was murdered, Tupac Shakur spoke about the health of the Black Community in America and his political future.

“It’s time for us as a People to start making some changes,
Let’s change the way we eat,
Let’s change the way we live,
And let’s change the way we treat each other.
You see the old way wasn’t working,
So it’s on us to do what we got to do to survive.”
