“The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.” – Gil Scott-Heron
“Do not be tense, just be ready, not thinking but not dreaming, not being set but being flexible. It is being “wholly” and quietly alive, aware and alert, ready for whatever may come.” – Bruce Lee
The following are a list of concepts, sciences, practices and technologies that are already being developed and used. There are already people dedicated to progressing these ideas. These concepts are reality. “2012 Enlightenment Theory” suggests that by connecting these concepts together, which is also happening (as proof by the mere existence of this article) that a society and culture free of want and need will emerge.
What we see in 2012 will be an acknowledgment of this direction, and a reduction of anxiety built from the nay-sayers and defeatists. 2012 will see the overcoming of doubt and an understanding that our human intelligence can overcome any hurdle if we free ourselves from ego and anxiety.
This movement is building, and it is not contingent on a single person, a single organization or a single school. It is the natural evolution of humankind. It is our awakening, our maturity, and our acknowledgement of our natural place on this earth.

“And the earth brought forth the green herb, and such as yieldeth seed according to its kind, and the tree that beareth fruit having seed each one according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.” – Genesis 1:12
Permaculture is the conscious practice of land design and plant systems that require less work, water, and energy to produce a larger amount of more diverse food. Following relationships that work in nature and taking advantage of close-looped processes, such as: chickens eating bugs (reducing feed-resources), helping plants (reducing work and pesticides) by doing so, and producing eggs for food (reducing need for other food-resources and work).
The Permaculture Research Institute of Australia is the leading organization in education and charity work through Permaculture in the world.

Meditation and Herbalism
alternative to pharmaceutical drugs and pain killers
solution to the degenerative health and drug problems
Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years and has been associated with pain relief, stress relief and emotional healing.
Herbalism allows for the nutritional prevention of health degeneration and natural remedies. The need for certified herbalists and an understanding of herbs by modern medical doctors is becoming more acknowledged by the medical community. Until a better integration of natural and clinical medicine practices emerges, be careful about any herbal usage as you would with any drug usage and consult your doctor before taking herbal supplements, especially if you are taking any other form of medicine.
The Amazon Herb Company has been working with the indigenous peoples of the Amazon Rainforest to harvest sustainable herbs that offer a more profitable use of their land than selling it off to lumber, cattle and soy production. Their Mission is to save and sustain the Rainforest.

“The best government is that which teaches us to govern ourselves.” Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Ron Paul is running for the Republican Nomination on an Anti-War, Anti-Federal Reserve, Anti-Drug War and Pro-Liberty platform. After making himself known in the 2008 Republican Primary, Representative Ron Paul has a legitimate opportunity to win the Republican Party Nomination for President, making him the mainstream contender to President Obama, something an Independent, Green or Libertarian Candidate will have to fight many times more to achieve. Ron Paul is also the highest polling Republican (or any) Candidate against President Obama (source).
The Green Party is one of the major third-parties in the United States. They have recently won 10-30% of the Vote in Governor and Congressional Elections. In the last year the Green Party of Canada and of the U.K. have both elected their first members to Parliament (the equivalent of the U.S. Congress).

Autonomy is the natural state of the human being. While we are family and social animals, our productivity is exponentially increased when we are enabled to manage ourselves.
The Hundredth Monkey is a modern-fable. While some validity exist as to its origin, the story alludes to something much more simple and real than spontaneous consciousness. The actual study only revealed something already known, that new generations of society adapt and learn new concepts at a faster rate than the previous generation. It also symbolizes how we learn best, which is through example and by doing. The Hundredth Monkey, in context to 2012 Enlightenment Theory, is the last person needed to understand the holistic significance of the concepts covered in this Theory, and the personal responsibility to act an it, in order to make this approach part of the accepted mainstream. It is the last person to wake up before waking up becomes the thing to do.
Are you the Hundredth Monkey?
“There is no fate but what we make.” – Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Whether by Coincidence or by Cosmic Fate, the coming year and it’s mythical significance has brought many of these concepts to the mainstream’s consciousness. People want to discuss these ideas. The current state of the world has brought to the attention of many people that the direction our leaders are taking us is not the best path. Our revelation is that by putting such responsibility on others, onto leaders and organizations, that we have allowed for this mis-direction, and that all that is required to correct our path is for us, as individuals, to take responsibility for our own fate. What I hope to accomplish with this article is to prove to you that some of us already have, and that the natural product of our self-determination is a world of abundance and self-governance.
