In my previous entries on what I think the potential of a global awakening has for the world, and what the potential the life itself has for the individual, I have covered a number of various subjects. However, I kept finding myself, with each entry, forgetting something.
In this Appendix I will add a few subjects I neglected to mention, and hopefully continue to update it as I discover new and exciting movements throughout the world.

Realize Your Power
Occupy Yourself: How To Fight Corporatism
You have immense power. You are in control of your life. You choose what to do with your life, or what not to do. Don’t fall for pessimism. Do not dismiss your dreams. You have the ability to be amazing.
Automated Education
Using software, videos, and the Internet, to help bring high-quality education to the entire world is not a possibility, but an absolute reality. Not only does this technology help empower educators, families, and students, but gives us a glimpse on what non-subsidized, and non-centralized education may look like. Combined with community education, education programs could free mankind to learn as they live, rather than rely on a bureaucratically regulated education system.
Khan Academy
Khan Academy is a collection of instructional videos in combination with an automated testing system that allows students to progress at their own rate. There are also tools embedded that allow teachers and parents to track the progress of students.
Gameful
Gameful is a movement of game designers developing games in order to make the World a better place. From educational games, to games that help motivate the individual to become healthier or more social, this movement has the potential of taking thousands of hours of game play and turning it into some revolutionary and ground breaking.
Local Banking
In order to reduce the power, effect and damages of big banks and Wall Street influence over government, the simple act of moving your money into a local bank, or credit union, is the easiest and most immediately accessible step an individual, or community, can do.
GNU/Linux
The original product of the “open-source” community, Linux is a computer operating system powered by voluntary coding and support. Some companies have made leaps, and some support does cost money, but there is plenty of free additions to carry the platform beyond what proprietary software has accomplished.
Okinawa and Longevity
Okinawa has the longest life expectancy in the world. A lot of people contibute that to their water quality and diet. As important as both of those ingredients are, there are other factors that play into long life. Okinawans love what they do for work and do it until they are absolutely unable. They love their family and friends and look forward to seeing them the next day. The remain active and positive. They don’t accept illness as an inevitability. They simply choose to live long and healthy lives. They make the choices that are required to do so. There is no reason, with modern science and a healthy appreciation for life, that we can not extend a meaningful life beyond even that which the Okinawans have come to enjoy.
